SUPPORT STRUCTURES

Multihead weigher mezzanines

Multihead weigher mezzanines support weighing equipment and provide access around it. Vertex SynTech designs the structure around the specific weigher model, surrounding machines and operating conditions.

A structure matched to the weigher

Machine-model dimensions, mounting interfaces and static/dynamic loads define the structural brief. Vibration-sensitive equipment requires consideration of how equipment and operator movement relate to the support arrangement.

Typical configuration

A typical configuration brings the mounting and access elements together.

  • Main frame and weigher mounting pads
  • Checker-plate floor
  • Access stairs and handrails
  • Kick plates and cleanable joints
  • Drainage and water-flow provision

Integration around the weighing system

The mezzanine is sized around multihead weighers, vibratory feeders, elevators, conveyors and other industrial equipment. Separate feeder support may be relevant where vibration control matters.

Information needed for design

Provide the weigher make/model and interface dimensions, required deck elevation, footprint and access. Define hygiene zone, material/finish, drainage, cable routing and removable sections before fabrication.
